Cissy, Reggie and Wilfred reside in a home for retired opera singers and musicians in Kent, England. Each year, on the tenth of October, there is a concert given by the residents to celebrate Verdi’s birthday. Jean who used to be married to Reggie arrives at the home and immediately disrupts their equilibrium. She still acts like a diva and refuses to sing. Is there any chance that the four will ever sing together?
This beautiful, poignant play written by Ronald Harwood, the author of The Dresser’ and many other plays. It will produce laughter alongside tears.
