Maintaining the high standards of staging productions is a costly business. Although we are fortunate in having a loyal and dedicated team of people to help construct and paint scenery plus a team of willing helpers who source and design props, we still have certain expenses. Such as; Royalties, costume hire, specialist props and on occasions, musicians. We also incur costs for any advertising or printing of programmes.
As a ‘not-for-profit’ society, we aim to cover these charges by our ticket sales, but sometimes it does fall short.
We are lucky, however, to have amongst our members and local businesses those who’ve given generously over the years and sponsored us in various productions and we are very grateful for their support.
